Attentive Care is the perfect solution.
We are care professionals who not only deliver the functional needs for assistance like bathing, meal preparation and light housekeeping, but also attend to the often overlooked human needs for companionship, engagement and compassion. Committed to honor and nurture the mind, body and spirit of each client as an individual, we see each person as unique with distinct needs-both physical and emotional and we attend to those needs.
Founded by Beverly Marcantel, who aspired to deliver a higher standard of care after being frustrated and dissatisfied with what was available when caring for her own mother, Attentive Care is the Gold Standard for in home personal care services.
The Attentive Care Difference
  • We are a small, family-owned and family-focused business, not a big impersonal company or franchise.
  • We care for the whole person with comprehensive levels of service addressing physical and emotional needs.
  • Our caregivers are unsurpassed in the industry for expertise and compassion. It is a pre-requisite that they have personally cared for someone in their own family. To our caregivers this is not a job, it's a calling to care for others and enhance our clients' quality of life.

A Message From Our Founder
"I've been there and have felt the pain that so many other children of aging parents are experiencing: trying to juggle taking care of parents whose health is declining, helping grown children, managing a household and working. It's an all-consuming, exhausting journey that can destroy your peace of mind and take a toll on your health and family as a whole. Meanwhile, you want to do the best you can to give your loved ones the highest quality of life possible. Out of my own experiences and that of many friends, I thought there has to be a better way. What if there could be a new model? How could we honor and engage our aging loved ones? These questions led me to design and found Attentive Care where our mission is to give the same gold standard of care that I demanded for my parents; to nurture the mind, body and spirit, as well as, care for basic needs. We honor those entrusted to our care as they are and extend the same caring to the family, as well, who often need it as much as their loved one."
